Abstract: 
The project complements and build on UNEP's work to reduce exposure risks from lead and cadmium in addition to other emerging policy issues identified by the international community i.e. Governments, intergovenmental organizations, industry and research and academic institutions.

Ressources provided: 
Co-finance: i) UNEP's in-kind contribution: a)professional staff man hours: 15 hrs per week during the whole duration of the project i.e. 2 years. b) access to international scientific studies and cross-border issues with the assistance and cooperative work of the members of the working group on lead and cadmium ii) UNEP's cash contribution: US$40,000
